October 22, 2008 Novinite.com The leader of Bulgaria's Nationalist ATAKA party, Volen Siderov, and two of his deputies received anonymous letters with death threats, he himself announced Wednesday. The letters have been signed with the pseudonym "Wolf Gray", which means grey wolf in German. The address of the sender, written on the envelope, was Sofia, 2 Vitosha Blvd., where the building of the Supreme Court of Cassation is located.
"Death is already inside you and there is no saving. You have less than a month to live," the paper, sent to Siderov read. The letters, received by the formation head's deputies Pavel Shopov and Anton Sirakov, were a bit different but their content has not been revealed to the public yet. Siderov said he is going to ask the National Security Service for getting personal guards. The nationalist explained also that he did not exclude the possibility the threats were related to his demand over stripping the leader of ethnic Turkish Movement for Rights and Freedoms party, Ahmed Dogan, of immunity. |
